When it comes to gaming, a comfortable seat is just as important as your keyboard, mouse or headphones. Because sitting on a couch or a regular office chair is going to hurt your back and your overall posture.
Gaming chairs are made for long-term sitting comfort, just like racing car seats most of the gaming chairs are so often modeled after.

The Respawn Fortnite OMEGA-Xi Gaming Chair came unassembled, as most chairs usually ship. But the assembly didn’t take me too long – I was done in about 30 minutes, and it may take you even less time, because the assembly instructions are very clear.
Gaming in this chair really felt comfortable. With the emphasis on quality building materials, I wasn’t surprised this chair felt the way it did.
My overall impression of this gaming chair can be described as “style meets simplicity, durability and comfort”.
My main concern was how well the wheelbase will hold up to tough gaming, and it did great.
The chair has all the features the best gaming chair needs to have, such as height adjustment arms and head support, as well as footrest, which I’ve already mentioned. You can also lock the reclining angle, which is awesome.
It has a footrest too, which I found to be a big advantage, because you feel long-term sitting in your legs just as much, as you feel it in your back. This chair will be appealing to those who play the game this chair is named after – “Fortnite”.

If you are like me, and don’t really trust gaming chairs on wheels, you will enjoy the X Rocker Pro Series H3 Black Leather Vibrating Floor Video Gaming Chair.
As you can tell, this chair doesn’t stand on wheels, but has a steady stand instead or can be placed directly on the floor and used as a rocker even, making it the best gaming chair for your game room, and great for gaming on consoles and not at the desk (though I had used it at my desk without any problems). I also used it while watching TV.
This chair is based on a wood and metal frame, which is covered with padded vinyl for easy cleaning.
One of the first things I noticed, is that this chair has speakers (4 speakers and 1 powerful subwoofer to be exact) built into it, thus delivering a great multimedia experience. Do note, however, that the sound quality is not that of a studio, but the purpose of this chair is not to be used for recording songs. The surround effect you will get is stereo, so all good.
Coupled with the vibration, this allows you to get fully immersed in your game. The controls are on the right side in this gaming chair. You can even plug in headphones directly into this chair, which I think is great.
The chair itself is very comfortable. The materials practically scream quality. Even the stitches on the back of the chair are solid. Can you tell I am amaze? Well, I honestly am!
The only downside to this chair is – it does get quite warm if you spend a longer period of time, but according to my observation, most gaming chairs do.
The armrests are fixed, but are built very nicely, and for me were another thing to enjoy about this chair.
All-in-all I did enjoy testing this chair out and might even buy it for using at home.

While it is technically a blend between an office chair and a gaming chair, it is also cheaper than most gaming chairs out there. But don’t let the price fool you – this gaming chair lives up to the name and gives you what you need most as a gamer – comfort.
It does have a vibrating cushion which you can plug in if you need vibration (which is in this case used for massaging your back), but it doesn’t have all the “bells-and-whistles” like the footstand or speakers.
The chair is solid, made out of quality materials, and doesn’t take too long to assemble. If you need a simpler gaming chair, this one will be the right one for you. After spending 5 hours in it while playing my favorite MMORPG, my back did not feel discomfort. “Good balance between quality and price” is how I’d describe this particular gaming chair.
